The Winged Lady

More work from my new sketchbook; I’m kind of out of practice on doodling randomness. Not exactly sure if it’s surreal enough for what I had in mind, but I wanted to finish it. I disregarded making everything even after about two minutes, so it’s pretty obvious where I just marked up the thing quickly and without advanced planning.

Crayon Dragon Headshot

Been working on an old doodle I must have started two years ago.

Image

It was a fullbody dragon sketch until I picked it back up three weeks ago and inked it with a sharpie pen. I wasn’t willing to spend time using prismacolor pencils on it, so I started using crayola crayons. I’m not sure why, but in the end it was fun (if not a learning experience). Eventually I’ll get a full picture of it instead of a partial scan.

Robot Repair Time

Trusty wrench!

I should really get back to work on my other stuff rather than drawing my OCs in Adventure time style.

But either way, it was a fun exercise and I have a super simplified design for King, a robot engineer/maker/something. He has more skills with robots than with normal people and enjoys putting together flashy robots for battle tournaments as a way to make a living. He is best friend to this guy: http://theroguemind.deviantart.com/art/Pressing-Developments-381456053
