The Needle Was In Fact Under-whelming.

It’s actually smaller than the high-rises above it.

I saw it driving by on the way to a market called Pike’s once, and it was so small. I couldn’t believe it. I mean, of course I wouldn’t want to fall off of it, but I always believed the Needle was the tallest part of the Seattle skyline. I found out later that the pictures of the Space Needle are usually taken from a special place so it looks much bigger than it actually is.

Well, I’m sure the view from the top of the building it still great, but it’s just so unimpressive from the outside.
